These terms apply when you use cancelcompass.com (the "Site"). By reading our guides you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
What CancelCompass is
CancelCompass publishes independently-written guides explaining how to cancel subscriptions and memberships, what the deadlines and fees are, and what happens to your money afterwards. Every guide is written by us and checked against the company's own published policy, which we link at the bottom of each page. You can read how we score and compare services on our rating methodology page.
What CancelCompass is not
- We are not affiliated with any company we write about. We are not an agent, reseller, or partner of Netflix, Spotify, Planet Fitness, or any other service named on this Site. Trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the service being described.
- We cannot cancel anything for you. We have no access to your accounts, no ability to contact a company on your behalf, and no way to process a refund. Every step in our guides is something you perform yourself.
- We do not provide legal or financial advice. Where we describe consumer rights, we are summarising publicly available rules for general information. Your situation may differ, and you should seek qualified advice before relying on it.
Accuracy and changes
Cancellation policies, prices, notice periods, and refund rules change frequently and often without announcement. We date every guide and re-check them on a rolling schedule, but we cannot guarantee that a page reflects a company's policy at the moment you read it. Always confirm the current terms on the company's official website or with their support team before you act. If you find something out of date, tell us at contact@cancelcompass.com and we will check it.
Use of the Site
You may read, print, and share our guides for your own personal use. You may not republish, scrape, or reproduce substantial portions of the Site elsewhere, or present our content as your own. The text, scores, comparisons, and rankings on this Site are our original work and remain our property.

Our guides link to official company help pages and other resources so you can verify what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
Advertising and disclosure
The Site is supported by advertising. Where a page recommends an alternative service, we say so plainly and, if a link would earn us a commission, we disclose that on the page itself. Advertising and commercial relationships never determine our scores, our rankings, or the order of the steps we publish — the methodology does. No warranty and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site — including a charge you were billed because a policy had changed, a deadline you missed, or a refund you did not receive.
